I really liked the gear overall, it feels well-made and dependable. That said, I couldn’t help feeling a little hesitant about the price. It’s nice stuff, but emotionally it was hard to feel totally good about the purchase when it felt a bit expensive

Maybe it’s just me, but I just can’t get used to the pocket placement. They feel oddly positioned and are hard to reach when I’ve got a pack on. The material itself is nice, so I wanted to like it more, but the layout keeps annoying me.

The stuff on firstlite.com looks clean online, but in person it just has this bulky, kind of boring look to it. The colors are dull, the fit feels a little off, and that whole style just doesn’t seem worth the price to me. Not really my thing

I picked up some gear from firstlite.com during a promo, and the discount made it a lot easier to pull the trigger. The code worked right away at checkout with no weird hassle or fine print surprises. A friend had recommended I keep an eye out for their deals, and I’m glad I did because the regular prices are still a bit steep for me. I’ll probably keep waiting for sales before buying more, but overall I’m happy with what I got and what I paid. Just wish the promos popped up a little more often...

I really like the way this jacket fits, and the material feels nice when you put it on. That said, for the price, I expected it to hold up a little better. After one season, mine is already showing some wear, and one of the seams started coming loose. It’s still comfortable and works fine, but if you’re planning to use it heavily, I’d trust your instinct and think twice about how durable you need it to be. Shipping was normal and I didn’t have any issues there

i mean, I was excited to get my gear, but the shipping seriously dragged on. The tracking barely updated, and the delivery date kept getting pushed back. Customer service didn’t really help much either. Frustrating when you’re spending that much and still stuck waiting around.

I picked up a couple pieces from First Lite and the camo blends in well where I hunt. In the timber it doesn’t have that too-dark or kind of fake look, which I was worried about. Only reason I’m not giving it the full five is the sizing felt a little off on me... not terrible, just not quite what I expected.

I ordered my usual size from First Lite and expected it to fit well, but it was just weird. The sleeves were way too long, the body felt tight, and the pants were loose in the waist but somehow still short. The quality seems decent at first, actually maybe better than decent, but then the fit kind of ruins it for the price. Returning it wasn’t exactly smooth either, which made the whole thing more annoying. I don’t think I’d order again unless I could try it on first

I really like First Lite gear, and the rewards program seems decent when everything lines up. I did end up getting a small discount after a few orders, so I guess it’s working? I just keep second-guessing where my points are, what they can actually be used for, and whether I’m missing something on the site. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I wish the rewards info was a little clearer and easier to find.

I swear every time I find something I actually like, my size or the color I want is already gone. I signed up for restock alerts too, but those seem to work only when they want to because I still haven’t gotten anywhere. It’s annoying when it feels like half the site is sold out all the time...

I had a good time using firstlite.com and was able to find what I needed without feeling like I was digging around forever. The menus were easy enough to follow, and the product pages had the kind of info I usually look for, like sizing, details, photos, descriptions, colors, all that stuff. A couple of the filters were a little annoying on my phone, like when I was trying to narrow things down by size or style, but nothing that made me want to give up.

Checking out was quick and straightforward, which I always appreciate. I could see the shipping cost before paying, the cart was easy to review, and I didn’t have to click through a million random popups or confusing steps. The only thing that kept it from being perfect was that the site loaded a little slow once or twice, like when opening a product page or going back to the category page. Still, overall it was a solid experience.

First Lite has a solid setup if you’re looking for hunting clothes and layering pieces. I was able to find most of the basics easily, like pants, jackets, base layers, and a few accessories too.

That said, the selection felt a little limited once I started looking at specific sizes and colors. A couple things I liked were either sold out or only had one option left, so yeah, that was kind of annoying.

Overall, it’s not bad at all. I’d still check back again, but I do wish they had more variety and better stock, because it didn’t really feel like there was a huge amount to choose from.

I’ve liked some of my First Lite gear over the years, and the quality has been fine overall, not amazing for the price, but solid enough. Lately though, I don’t know... it just feels like the brand has shifted. It used to feel more connected to conservation and the hunting community, and now it feels a lot more like it’s mainly about selling the next product. I was hoping to see more real support for local habitat projects or smaller groups doing the work on the ground — not just posts that sound good. Maybe I’m missing some of what they’re doing, but from the outside, the values side feels thin these days.

I picked up a couple of First Lite pieces because a buddy I hunt with has been using their stuff for years, and so far I’m glad I did. The care tags were straightforward, so I washed everything cold and hung it up to dry like they recommended. No shrinking or weird fit changes so far, which was my main concern. One of the merino shirts did take longer to dry than I expected, but that wasn’t a huge deal. Overall I’m happy with it, I just wish the wash instructions were a little easier to find on the website before buying.

I ordered a couple things from First Lite, and everything that showed up was exactly what I picked out online. Sizes, colors, and the quantity were all right, so I didn’t have any problems there.

The packing was fine too, and nothing looked damaged or like it had been used before. I thought one of the sale items might end up being wrong or something, but nope, it was all good.

The only reason I’d give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the shipping updates were kinda slow. Other than that, it was a solid order.

I’ve worn my First Lite gear on a few cold mornings now, it’s been solid. My usual shortcut is simple: if I’m not thinking about what I’m wearing while I’m out there, it’s doing its job. This stuff moves well, kept me warm, and didn’t feel bulky at all. The only thing I’d knock is that shipping could’ve been a little faster

I’ve been using a few First Lite layers together and overall they pair up nicely. For the kind of weather I’m usually out in, the system works well and feels comfortable. My only gripe is that the sizing could be a little more straightforward, since it seems like the right fit depends a lot on how you plan to layer everything...
